Visitors are Always Welcome! What better way to get a feel for a church than to visit a few times? We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:00 am.
Directions: We are located at 423 Main Street, Monroe CT. For customized directions click on the blue circle above. Click again on the small map that will come up. Copy and paste our address in as your destination.
Music: After an opening hymn on the organ, our worship team leads a full set of contemporary music. This is our opportunity to express gratitude and praise to the Lord for who He is, and everything He's done for us.
Expository Preaching: We believe the Bible is inspired by God, completely reliable, and teaches us how to know God and live for Him. Our pastor preaches through books of the Bible, verse-by-verse, so we'll know God's Word in context and then apply its truths to our lives.
Our Congregation: Stepney is a mix of young and not so young, single and married, "kids" and "no kids" people. Our common bond is a love for the Lord and His Word. We desire to fulfill His purpose in our generation. We love overseas and urban mission, along with mercy ministry to the downtrodden in our world.
Nursery: Our nursery is for children up to age four. It is located directly below the sanctuary. Volunteers arrive 10-15 minutes before service starts. Your little ones will be lovingly cared for and enjoy a story from the children's Bible. All of our volunteers have been trained in child safety and have passed criminal background checks.
Sunday School is offered for grades K-5 during the sermon time. Children will be dismissed after worship for Sunday school. They'll get a Bible teaching from the Gospel Project and enjoy a game or craft. It's also okay if children wish to stay in the service with their parents.
Coffee Hour: Immediately after service, come downstairs to enjoy some java and make new friends.
So: See you Sunday!
