Royal Family Kids Camp and Mentoring Programs

For over 25 years, local Fairfield County churches have worked together to run the Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC). This is a five-day, overnight camp experience for kids, ages 6 to 12, in the child welfare system. We are a chapter of our parent organization called For the Children, which has over 240 chapters nationwide.

The purpose of the camp is to create a space where foster children can learn to develop healthy relationships, build trust and begin to heal.

All our volunteers have been trained and screened for safety. Beyond camp, our counselors continue the intervention during the school year through a monthly mentoring program hosted at Stepney Baptist Church, Monroe.

Costs: There are no fees to attend camp or mentoring program.
